This is not about his sexual needs, which is of course a part of man. There is a reason behind why everyone does what they do. I keep stating over and over that trying to understand another person is impossible because of our sinful self-centeredness, and that it is only by recognition of our own sinful self-centeredness and seeking the power of the Holy Spirit can we stop being offended by another and look at why they do what they do. Men are therefore particularly susceptible to feelings of personal rejection through the actions and words of their wives.
